If your application is successful, you will complete a range of online learning modules prior to attending a 4 day training programme to provide you with the skills required to become a Community First Responder. This training will normally be delivered over 2 consecutive weekends.
Once training is completed you will join the team as an active responder. You will be allocated a 'buddy' from the team who you will respond with until you feel comfortable to respond alone.
Ongoing training and development will then be provided within the team to develop your skills and confidence within your CFR role.
